How to Become Proficient in Street Photography? http://wiki.shopingserver.com/how-to-become-proficient-in-street-photography-2/ http://wiki.shopingserver.com/how-to-become-proficient-in-street-photography-2/#respond Tue, 11 Feb 2020 19:34:34 +0000 http://wiki.shopingserver.com/?p=26598

Street photography captures the scenes of people’s everyday lives. Using simple techniques in this article, street photographers can take better photos.

Undoubtedly, perseverance and training are needed to succeed in anything. In disciplines such as music or sports that have rules and regulations, perseverance and practice are a prerequisite for success, but in a field such as street photography , practicing alone can be a bit confusing. So, first of all, we have to learn the best general way to practice in this field.

Street photographyA photo that has been taken many times with the same idea and in different situations, and this is a snapshot of the moment.

Regular exercise versus conscious exercise

Regular exercise occurs when you do something without thinking constantly. Most of the things we have learned in life, such as using a fork, talking, tying our shoes, and so forth are the result of regular exercise. Regular exercise has allowed us to gradually become skilled at these tasks.

This also applies to most tasks that require a particular skill. For example, if you play the guitar for 4 minutes every day, it is true that you have only a little practice but in the long run you can become a professional guitarist. So is street photography. Just take an hour every day. This is a regular exercise.

In fields such as music or sports, you can easily identify where you are weak and practice to fix it. In basketball, for example, you may have weaknesses in free throw or you may not be able to play a part of the song with the guitar. In these cases, you need conscious exercise.

In Conscious Practice Using Skills and Targeting Weaknesses We try to fix problems. Conscious practice is when you try to work on a very specific way to a very specific skill set. This exercise includes feedback, fixed rules, and a set of constraints. In this article, we examine these three cases.

But how can we use conscious practice in Street photography?

Limitations are important: Prime Prime Lenses

In photography, especially street photography, it is difficult to classify the skills needed. When shooting photography, it is important to focus on the limitations.

In photography we can apply limitations in many aspects, most notably the focal length. That’s why prime lenses have been widely acclaimed by street photographers. Photographers think these lenses enhance their creativity, but in fact, they limit the field of view by teaching photographers how to adjust the frame by moving their body.

These settings over time lead to better spatial awareness and understanding of the effects of specific focal lengths.

So, as we said about conscious exercise, it is better to focus on this disadvantage. If you have been shooting with a 2mm prime lens for many years, using a 1mm or 1mm lens may help you improve your skill with their focal lengths as well.

With zoom lenses, photography becomes a conscious and thoughtful experience where the location and consequently the perspective are less affected by the lenses. You can easily select a perspective and then adjust the focal length and finally adjust your perspective.

Street photography

The photographer had a 5mm lens but felt he could take better pictures with a 7mm lens. However, having a prime lens helped him to capture an interesting combination at one point. This limitation made him creative.

Of course you can learn all of this with the zoom lens, but using the focal length limitation can make your practice more efficient. If you don’t have a prime lens, you can adjust your lenses to a specific focal length and shoot for a few days.

With this exercise the mind becomes a zoom lens and gradually becomes a prime lens for the photographer of the zoom lens.

This is not to look at the markings on the lens and adjust exactly 1mm or 2mm or whatever before taking a photo, but it is subjective for the photographer.

That is to say, before you shoot, I need about 1mm or about 1mm for this photo. This way, you will gradually come up with the right idea for each situation.

The simplicity of prime lenses forces photographers to think in a creative and different way. This is in fact the same method of conscious exercise.

Prime lenses make the limitations and therefore they are a great tool for establishing the right relationship between focal length and field of view.

Street photography

Aperture Priority Photography

After practicing for a while with both manual and aperture modes, the photographer realized that it needed 4 stops of dimming.

Exposure restrictions: Manual mode

Using prime lenses we can limit the field of view. Another way to limit photography is to use manual mode. In general, this is not a necessity for street photography. Although manual mode can provide continuous and accurate exposure, in some cases this can be a hindrance to photography.

You can use Aperture Priority Aperture when taking a street photo. But using manual mode is essential for people who are training Exposure exposure.

This limitation allows the photographer to think about the three main settings and to understand the relationship between them. These include the shutter speed, aperture and ISO that are present in each camera.

You can also go a step further and lock one or two of your camera’s original settings to Lock. This will allow you to have a unique and fixed composition for two adjustments and adjust just one to correct exposure in photos. you have. For example, on a sunny day you can select F / 2 for aperture and shutter speed 1/4 and adjust the ISO only if needed to get the proper exposure.

Similarly at night you can select F / 2.8 and ISO 1600 and then adjust the shutter speed if needed.

It is important to understand how these settings work alone or together. This makes it easier to understand what happens when shooting in semi-auto modes such as aperture priority with Auto ISO sensitivity .

The ultimate goal is to go beyond the stage where you know the camera’s performance is magic and your mind is aware of what the camera is doing.

This will allow you to capture more opportunities for street photography in street photography. Because in this type of photography speed is very important and you only have a few seconds for each photo.

Limitations on the subject: Imitate professors

After the frame and exposure limitations, the third limitation we can apply is the style or theme limitation. An easy and fun way to do this is to imitate the professors. That is, you can find a photographer you admire or include specific aspects that you would like your photos to have.

When you find the professor you want, identify your overall theme and the choices your professor has made in your work. Then start shooting and keep asking yourself: What does my professor do in this photo?

Introducing and introducing three inspiring professors:

The first master of the web is Alex Webb . His photographs emphasize several layers and themes, all assembled into a single whole. His work is famous for having many individual subjects in one frame.

Street photography

Saul Liter illustrates vague topics with distinctive color spots in the foreground.

The next photographer is Saul Leiter . In his photos we can see an abstract approach to color and shape. Saul Litter sometimes refuses to make a direct picture of human subjects, and his choices are more abstract. His emphasis is on blurry spots in the foreground and he regularly uses reflections and glass in his images. Bad weather photography is also commonplace in liters.

Siegfried Hansen, professor of geometry and the use of lines and shapes in his work, is the third photographer we can draw inspiration from. Most Hanson photos do not include people, which is a bit unusual for most street photographers.

All three of the photographers mentioned use color to the last degree and do little to monochrome (monochrome).

Although the work of each of these photographers can be analyzed in greater depth, these visual elements and ideas are subjects that can be kept in mind when practicing photography. There are many masters you can take inspiration from and take pictures of.

Your feedback and coaches

The last and probably most important part of conscious practice is feedback. Feedback is not exclusively for conscious practice, and criticism and feedback is undoubtedly important for growing on any subject, including art. The problem arises when we can’t find a coach to give feedback.

How can we fix this problem?

You can be your own mentor by using template teachers. In fact, when you’re shooting, you can still think to yourself how your teacher would take this photo if you were to take it? Or you could even focus on certain aspects of your composition and ask yourself how did my master work on this framing, timing, or any other subject in this photo? With this method you can create a mental checklist of the must-have for yourself.

For example, here are five questions from this checklist that you can review in your mind when shooting.

  • What if I removed a better picture from this frame?
  • What should I add to my frame in my photography environment to get a better photo?
  • Can I improve the navigation lines on the scene by moving them to corners and so on?
  • Is the timing just right? Have I taken a photo at the right moment?
  • Can I photograph better? For example, a better passer to improve the composition of the photo?

A mental checklist can include everything you think you need to shoot. You can think about the weaknesses or aspects that you like to get better at, and keep them in mind when shooting. Noting these also makes it easier for you to remember them.

Street photography

An example of duplicate photos, frames and the general idea in these photos haven’t changed much, but the composition has changed slightly from one photo to another.

Street photography

Street photography

No door handles

Street photography

Finally this photo is selected as the final photo with a slight gradient.

Focus on your mental checklist and take more duplicate photos.

As a final point, when taking street photography, it is best to observe the following:

  • Make sure you give yourself the opportunity to focus. That is, put your phone in flight or put it in your bag.
  • Always bring a camera and a lens with you for photography. This may be a disadvantage at times, but it makes you less hesitant when shooting. That means you don’t doubt whether I should change the lens or not. It is, in fact, the idea of limitation that stimulates creativity.
  • For more focus, try shooting with an empty stomach. For some photographers, eating food kills their creativity and focuses more when they are hungry. Also, after a few hours of photography, eating a good meal is like getting a reward.
  • And finally, when you shoot a subject, the first few photos are not counted. Even more when you’re happy with your first photo. Give yourself a specific purpose. Like shooting any subject from ten different perspectives or as many as you like. The important thing is to force yourself to think more about how to frame a picture.

What do you think about this?

But how can we use conscious practice in photography?

After practicing with both manual and aperture modes for a while, the photographer realized that it needed 2 stops of light.

With this method you can create a mental checklist of your must-have’s.

In the World of Macro Photography, think differently http://wiki.shopingserver.com/in-the-world-of-macro-photography-think-differently/ http://wiki.shopingserver.com/in-the-world-of-macro-photography-think-differently/#respond Sun, 22 Dec 2019 19:19:53 +0000 http://wiki.shopingserver.com/?p=25934

Have you ever tried to look at the world from a different angle and tell the stories about it being recorded? Macro Photography thinks the same.

Macro photographers have learned over the years that this style of photography has the ability to override the rules of other genres, such as portrait and landscape photography, and launch a new design.

The Macro photography is a different world to discover, and taking a different approach to combining science and art is a valuable asset.

Macro photography

The landscape photographer knows very well that the alignment of the horizon and (for example) two degrees lower it is not so easy.

But in smaller-scale landscapes with no horizontal lines, they call the camera’s arbitrary rotation so that colors, lines, and shapes in the landscape can be combined in the best possible way.

To add to the visual appeal of a photo, a flower or bush of grass can be tilted and diagonally depicted.

To portray insects in one corner of the landscape, or even vice versa, is a believable way for everyone; they look as if gravitational forces have no effect on their lives.

Macro photography

A photographer should always keep in mind that he must deal with unfamiliar angles and act as if this is never normal for him to become a habit.

However,

focusing on the physical movement of the camera is something that can be practiced with a little bit of queen’s mind. When shooting macro subjects – especially when using maximum zoom – autofocus happens by chance.

Focus should never be used if you have to blend in with the camera that is very close to the camera.

Manual focus can also work, but it’s easier to move the camera back and forth to get the subject through the focal length. This may sound daunting at first, or at least a foreign concept.

But with this method, it will be much easier to focus on the bees!

Macro photography

Focus rails are adjusted just like a microscope: optics should not change, but the distance between the lens and subject varies. This technique is a handy and useful solution, as the camera is mounted on a tripod, has a fox rail and it may be best to take photos with the camera.

This gives more freedom to creativity. Moving the photographer back and forth, while turning the subject around to find the best composition in the image, gives the photographer more creative choices, much more than when the photographer places the camera on a tripod.

 In this way,

the photographer can focus his lens on the size of the subject (in fact, he uses his lens as a magnifying ring) and, thus, passes the focal plane with a physical motion of the subject.

Consider the example of the bee that follows. Everything in this photo is staged except for the “actor” who is the element who needs to be flexible.

Macro photography

If the above method is used, the photographer usually starts shooting at high speeds in order

to get the proper focus and in the hope that he will later select

the best photo with the same focus he wants from among all the photos,

Passes the right focus and continues shooting.

This method is very suitable for insect photography and other moving subjects.

Adding a battery pack to the camera flash ensures that the scene is always lit. You can use Bolt CBP , which is a great and inexpensive option. If the photographer shoots out-of-focus photos in order to finally find the right focus for his or her non-resident subject, he or she will most likely get what he or she wants.

Capturing hundreds of successive photos to get a custom picture with all the variables properly set is a routine for photographers, and no photographer sees it as a no-brainer, but for them it is an attempt to overcome the hustle and bustle.

Macro photography

Why can’t photographers use other tools to overcome shallow depth of field in Macro Photography?

If the camera’s aperture is capable of indefinite shrinkage,

why shouldn’t the photographer shoot with the f / 96 aperture only to gain greater depth?

The answer is that light is not well recorded due to the failure it is experiencing. What is light failure?

Basically, when light travels through a valve (for example, the camera’s aperture) it redirects, just like the behavior of water waves in waveguide experiments.

The smaller the valve, the more light it shatters,

eventually falling on the photocells (small light detectors per pixel) adjacent to the sensor. This off-line coloring can be easily seen at the bottom of each of the light rays.

Macro photography

A great example of this is the Canon MP-E 65mm f / 2.8 1x-5x lens set with 5x zoom and f / 16 aperture. A diagram on page 8 of this lens’s guide illustrates how to set the “adjusted” aperture to an “effective” aperture.

Because lens magnification also affects these settings.

Given the above variables,

one can imagine a situation where the photographer actually shoots with the f / 96 aperture,

but the failure of light causes the image to become a confused and opaque image.

There are online calculators to calculate the refraction of light, whose function is to check whether the photographer limits the resolution of his images.

But keep in mind:

the closer the photographer gets to his subject, the more the depth of field will increase. Because as the zoom is increased, the camera’s aperture shrinks significantly and loses its performance.

Macro photography

If it is not possible to overcome the physics of light, at least it can be bypassed: that is, the stacking technique should be used.

By combining narrow cuts of focus that overlap slightly, you can create a more in-depth compositional image in post-processing.

Do you remember the hundreds of photos you took earlier to find the right focus? If two or more of them are closer than others, you have an unmatched opportunity to combine them to achieve a much better depth.

Some subjects, such as water droplets, require 3 to 5 shots; if the photographer is dealing with smaller subjects such as snow particles, you need to shoot 2 consecutive shots to get the desired result.

Keep in mind that you don’t need to take all the photos in focus, but you do have the tools to get the most out of your effort in the post-processing phase.

You don’t even need proprietary software to do this:

Photoshop is the best tool possible, and recently the ON1 Photo RAW company has added a Focus Stocking feature to their RAW processing steps. They have done this only by introducing a simple and easy interface.

Macro photography

As always, new technology has provided more opportunities to overcome certain limitations.

An interesting example of this is the use of “high resolution” mode with the ability to change sensors, which can be seen in some mirrorless cameras.

If a 2-megapixel image can meet your needs,

but the Lumix S1R ( Lumix S1R) can capture 4-megapixel images, you can distance yourself from the subject.

This inherently gives the field more depth and you can crop it and still achieve a brilliant result. The image you see below required only five images. If it had worked the other way, it would have taken about 1 image:

Macro photography

Increasing technical information and confusing details will complicate the discussion,

so it’s best to consider the artistic aspect of macro photography.

 Storytelling –

There is much to be said about the fact that photos containing

some kind of narrative are in fact little to say,

and the point here is that there is no end to the methods of creating fantasy stories

in the realm of macro photography.

Macro photography

You can gaze around the gardens and explore its stories,

such as the story of insects interacting with their surroundings,

the passage of seasons and the blooming of dried flowers,

or the view of the earth just below the ground to

the world Discovered it from the perspective of a flower.

 Ask yourself,

“What if it wasn’t like that?” And before you take the camera and look at the world through its lids,

try to look at the world from a new angle to find a story worth capturing with camera lenses.

Professional Photography Guide to Nature and Landscapes http://wiki.shopingserver.com/professional-photography-guide-to-nature-and-landscapes/ http://wiki.shopingserver.com/professional-photography-guide-to-nature-and-landscapes/#respond Sun, 22 Dec 2019 18:48:37 +0000 http://wiki.shopingserver.com/?p=25923 When photographing in nature you want to ensure that the photos are clear, clear, and quality in all areas. There are many ways to ensure that all recorded photos are of high quality and resolution.

In this upcoming article, we are going to describe these methods and help you improve the quality of your landscape photography.

Always use a camera tripod for Photography

One of the most important and effective factors in the quality and clarity of recorded images is the use of tripods . Applying tripods is essential for the stability of the camera and allows you to easily frame the image. The most important use of a tripod is to prevent hand slips when shooting, to determine the right frame for the image and thus to create a high quality, clear image.

While using lighter tripods (often made of carbon material) is better for nature photography, it doesn’t matter which tripod brand you use for photography. It is important that the camera tripod is stable and powerful and able to hold the camera steady so that you can capture clear, high quality images even with blur even in the wind.

Turn off your camera stabilizer

Another important thing to keep in mind when shooting nature photography is to disable the Image Stabilizer feature of your camera. Of course, in non-tripod photography it is better to keep this feature active, as it helps in clarity and quality of images.

But when using tripods, keeping this option enabled due to its mechanism can cause a slight slip on the camera screen and damage the output image quality.

In addition, keeping this option active while shooting can reduce the battery life of the camera! So be sure to disable this option when taking nature photography.

Nature photography

Determine the aperture of the camera

One of the most important factors when shooting in nature is the size of the camera aperture . The small aperture size, indicated by large numbers, creates a large depth of field . But the large aperture size shown in small numbers (for example: F 2.8) results in a small image depth.

It is clear that nature photographers tend to have acceptable photos both in the foreground and in the background, so small aperture sizes are often recommended.

The key question is what is the best aperture size for nature photography?

In response we should say that the use of a medium aperture (around F11) is more common.

Note that applying a very small aperture size (such as the F22) is not suitable for nature photography. The camera’s aperture has a feature called defraction , which makes the image smoother when shooting at small apertures such as F16 or F22 (which is not desirable for landscape photography).

This is due to the way the camera lens transmits light when the light passes through the aperture. Much of the light fails, and as a result the depth of field is increased by the F22 aperture, resulting in a finer image than normal.

Therefore,

it is best to avoid adjusting the size of the small aperture when choosing the aperture size for nature photography and to choose medium sizes. This ensures that the camera lens is properly adjusted in addition to having sufficient depth of field.

Nature photography of Bangladesh

How to focus on nature photography

Choosing the right spot to focus on when shooting is crucial! Approximately two-thirds of the image’s depth falls when shooting from a wide-angle (outside) angle and one-third falls into it.

Therefore, if you select the focus point too far, you will lose the depth of the necessary external image.

Also, if you select the focus point too close to you, you will lose the depth of the image adjacent to your focus point. With this detail, if you select the focus point at approximately one-third of the nearest (third) image, you will achieve an image depth of almost your highest.

Therefore, focus point selection is very important when shooting. Of course, choosing the focus point on the first third of the image that many photographers are used to is not very accurate! We will look for other ways to maximize the resolution of our image.

Hyperfocal distance

The term may seem sophisticated, but today with graphs and apps, it has become easy to use. Simply put, the frequency range is the point that gives the depth of field for each focal length or aperture composition. For example, if you’re shooting at a 5mm focal length and F11 aperture, there will be a distance that will maximize your image depth, which is the superfocus distance .

In recent years, however, the use of frequency bandwidth has declined, as the model is gradually outdated and requires high knowledge.

In other words, this formula helps to bring the focus a little closer to the photography scene, which in turn makes the background image beautiful and crisp, but the background is very soft, making it perfect for nature photography. is not.

The main reason for this is the high resolution of today’s cameras and the fact that today we enlarge photos to a great extent and this old formula is not responsive to new needs. The alternative to this case is double distance focusing , which we will introduce below.

Double distance focusing

This is much easier to apply than the frequency range. All you have to do is look for the nearest point you want to have at high resolution in your image scene, then double that distance and focus on that point.

The next question to ask is what to do in rare situations where you cannot get enough depth of field by choosing focus and aperture size? In this case you can use the tilt and shift lens.

But keep in mind that this is a specialized and expensive lens that has made it very few photographers. As a replacement for this lens function, you can use a feature called Focus Stacking . Click here to learn how to adjust the camera lens.

What is Focus Stacking?

In this way, you will first take several photos with different focus points from the viewpoint, then combine them to have a single image with adequate depth of field (from beginning to end).

Landscape photography

Prevent camera shake when shooting!

Now it’s photography! One of the important things to keep in mind when shooting is the camera shake. In this case you should be careful not to cause any movement or vibration as a result of physical contact with your camera.

You can use a special cable with a photo button to ensure that the camera does not shake or move when shooting in nature.

You can also use the self-destruct timer to prevent camera contact while shooting and prevent movement and vibration when shooting.

Also make sure your camera’s live view feature is turned on before recording. The reason is that in this case the mirror used in the camera is locked in place and there will be no displacement when shooting the image that will reduce the image quality.

If your camera doesn’t have the Live View feature, you can enable mirror lock up, which is available on most cameras today.

Final image review

If you follow the tips in this article correctly, your image will be clear and high quality. But keep in mind that many factors such as wind or (if you are on the beach) dipping in the sand can cause your photo to lack clarity and quality.

Therefore,

it is necessary to review your images after the photography. Do not zoom in and out to make sure the background and background of both images are clear and have the required quality.

Finally, you can also use the View loupe on your camera screen to make sure the recorded image is clear.

Eight ways to break the barrier of Creativity in Photography http://wiki.shopingserver.com/eight-ways-to-break-the-barrier-of-creativity-in-photography/ http://wiki.shopingserver.com/eight-ways-to-break-the-barrier-of-creativity-in-photography/#respond Fri, 08 Nov 2019 20:39:38 +0000 http://wiki.shopingserver.com/?p=25683

Creativity in Photography Artists sometimes face a lack of interest in their work, but what do you need to do to get a new passion?

Christine Wingel is a street photographer from Luxembourg. The tips in this article are based solely on the photographer’s personal experiences. You can see Wingle’s work on his website and Twitter account.

All artists sometimes face “obstacles” or obstacles, such as feeling discouraged or lacking in motivation and interest, and are reluctant to do what they love. Likewise, writers face the barriers of writing.

In such circumstances the author is unable to write anything. This does not make any logical sense; how can a writer who has written hundreds of pages suddenly be able to write even one sentence? This has nothing to do with the nature of writing; it can happen in any other art, especially photography, and is called the “barrier to creativity.

Patricia Houston MD recently wrote a research article on the barrier to writing and how to fix this problem. Wingel extends his understanding of the barriers of writing to photography, and in this article has suggested solutions to the problem.

Barrier to creativity

1. Lower expectations

One of the discouraging reasons for photographers is unrealistic expectations. For example, they overestimate photos, but not all photos are a good option to share with others. Take photos for fun and set your expectations. Take pictures of subjects you don’t usually care about, such as the sky, trees, mannequins, houses, street signs. Just click the shutter.

Soon you will pass this moment and you will get the extract of creativity .

Above all, allow yourself the error because it is impossible to perform in any case. If you are working on a project and you feel discouraged, try thinking like a sculptor. Usually the sculptor does not shave his head first and then go to other parts; he first uses a basic idea for sculpture and then adds details to his work.

The same should be true for photography. Draft first and then upgrade the various parts. Do not place too much emphasis on being perfect. Achieving the desired outcome is more important than spending too much time promoting something that may never achieve the desired outcome.

The more time you spend working on it, the harder it will be to get the desired result. Under such circumstances, the human mind begins to make excuses, such as not being ready for work or needing further reform.

Lower expectations

2. Appreciate your success

Try to give yourself positive feedback even for the smallest of tasks. In other words, reward yourself if you succeed or have some small success. Some people run away from emphasizing or appreciating their success, no matter how successful they are. This is harmful to the health of the mind and is rooted in insecurity. For example, some believe that they do not deserve success. The main author of the article, Kristen Wingel, says:

When I got my LLM degree, I hung my diploma on the wall like a morning newspaper. I didn’t share this success with anyone. I didn’t even have a party.

If you do not always appreciate your successes because you are looking for your next goal, you will lose motivation at some point and may even be completely silenced. This mentality is also called “pretense syndrome”. In such situations, the person feels fake or jealous or feels that he is not a real artist as other people call him. “You can pretend to be someone else or make sure you are an artist by making a unique statement,” Houston says to people like this. Step aside and start thinking more productively.

Appreciate the success

3. Give yourself a break

Sometimes just a short break is enough to get an idea. Try not to do anything else for a few days or even a week or do something else; or take a break from your camera and shoot with a cellphone for only a week. Wingel says:

I remember the time I first started photography. I was photographing with my cellphone every day because I had not been able to get a camera yet. Those days were one of the best times of my life.

Remember this: Walk a lot to save your mind from the chaos. According to Soren Kirkgard:

Try not to lose your desire for walking. I walk every day for health and to avoid any illness. I direct myself to the best of thoughts, and I know that there is no annoying thought that cannot be eliminated;

According to celebrity director and author Ingmar Bergman : “The devils hate the fresh air.” Many artists have been used to regular walks throughout history. For example, police arrested Bob Dylan, a singer and poet, while wandering around New Jersey. Especially in today’s world where people are heavily dependent on their cell phones, walking is not only useful for restoring creativity and maintaining physical health but also for overall mental health.

Street photography

4. Read a photography book

Always bring a photography book with you. Look at the book carefully and let the images digest in your brain. You see a lot of room for improvement when you see the pictures of the masters of photography. Wingel says:

When I first saw Robert Frank’s book The Americans, I was reluctant to do so. I didn’t think it was bad, but this book didn’t have any special features for me. I felt too exaggerated about it. I recently saw the book again and looked at the pictures from a completely different angle. This time the images had a different meaning for me.

This look is partly dependent on your information. When you are a freshman you have a little bit of theoretical information. At one point, however, you do not get a good output from theory or merely information. Here’s where more information only makes your job worse; it’s just like you haven’t unlocked the new stage to access the next information and need to advance to a certain level.

When you refer back to the same theoretical information as you gain practical experience, you will look at it differently.

Reading a photography book

5. Sign out of social networks

Sign out of Facebook and Instagram . You don’t need to delete your account, but just try to stay away from the hustle and bustle of social media. One of the worst things anyone can do is check out notifications and social media news immediately after waking up. If you start your day with this, you’ll be in control of the news and updates yourself. Much of your creativity comes when you don’t need cognitive and conscious thinking, but what do you usually do when you’re tired? You check your cellphone.

Unfortunately, this eliminates the possibility of subconscious activity, as you constantly push yourself. If you release your mind you allow your subconscious (which is often necessary for creative work) to think. Linda Barry says:

Mobile provides a lot of information, but it has three key elements to discover: loneliness, uncertainty, and insecurity. Creative ideas come from exactly these three elements.

The creativity of the photographer does not increase with the browsing of Instagram

Photographers usually don’t get the idea through Instagram. In fact, Instagram makes things worse. Bulk browsing of images will give the audience a sense of guilt. “After leaving Instagram, my enthusiasm for getting out and doing things increased, and I shifted toward production rather than consumerism,” says Wingel. I also have all the comments on my blog. ”You can also share content on your blog or site instead of posting content directly on Facebook and then synchronize it with your own. This way you build your own platform instead of someone else’s platform.

Social Networks

6. Don’t make photography your job

If possible, don’t turn your hobby into a job. If you work as a photographer and have to capture the same images every day, it will be difficult to come up with a creative idea. Many full-time photographers usually do not have enough energy for post-work projects. That’s why chefs don’t tend to cook at home. According to Austin Clive:

One of the simplest ways to hate a job is to turn it into a job that transforms your soul into work that lifts your body.

That’s why you have to fear the materialization of your interests.

7. Travel and purchase new equipment

Traveling to new places seems like a surefire way to get an idea, but it will have many side effects on innovation. Since everything is new to you, you will be more inclined to photograph and record images while walking. However, when novelty disappears, so does passion.

The same thing happens when you buy new equipment: At first you have a great desire but after a few weeks you will be back to the starting point. Don’t buy new equipment ideas! This is the wrong choice. A few weeks later you lose your passion and you only get a few thousand dollars poorer.

It is recommended that you travel not because of the creativity barrier, but because of the increased visibility and investment in experiences and expanding your creativity library. Just be careful; you have to keep your passion wherever you are. If you can’t come up with an idea for a small town old camera, you’re failing to solve your main problem.

8. Be professional

Professionalization is a term that is widely used by author Steven Presfield. The term is not used in its usual sense, but rather means to take artwork seriously; what professionals do and not necessarily to make art work a job; you should not just be lazy about your art. If you do street photography, take it seriously. If you are writing an essay, take it seriously – and try to do things you love on a regular basis and even daily – that is the true meaning of being a professional. Whether you love your job or not, you will be at work; try to do the same with your art. Wingel says:

Sometimes I have no idea about writing before sitting down at the computer. Sometimes I may write a thousand-word article at a time. Othertimes I force myself to go out and do street photography even if I don’t want to. In such a situation, I just take photos without regard to anything until I find the passion again.

Passion comes to you after you get started, not before

The urge to work comes after you, not before; and if you do something every day, you create a compelling force that makes it easier for you the next day. For Wingel, writing a daily paper is easier than writing two or three times a week. The same is true for photography; if you don’t go out for a few days, it’s hard to get out. That’s why it is harder for people to get to work early in the week.

Under Newton’s first law of inertia, an object will continue to move unless force is forced to stop. If you continue to sit, you will continue to sit. If you work five days in a row and then stop working, it will be more difficult for you to get started and you need to apply more energy. If you are moving you will need a little energy to keep moving.

Conclusion

All artists occasionally experience discouragement and a lack of passion for the work. Although this tendency is natural, it is treatable. The following is a brief summary of the tips:

1. Lower expectations. Even if you are a professional photographer sometimes allow yourself to take ‘bad’ pictures. You don’t have to share all your images with others. Photography for your entertainment and for yourself.
2. Appreciate your success. Be grateful even for small improvements. Remember, appreciation for success is a sign of confidence.
3. Relax yourself. Sometimes you have to be completely out of your art for a short time to continue with more power later. Try hiking regularly.
4. Read the book. One of the best ways to go out and photograph is to check out the photos and images of the masters.
5. Sign out of social networks. Avoid the hum of social media. Instagram is harmful to your passion.
6. If possible, don’t turn photography into a daily job. That way, you can only capture your favorite images, not the ones others expect of you.
7. Don’t buy new equipment to solve the problem of immorality. Go as far as you can go but if you think traveling solves the long-term crisis of inactivity. Instead, try to root out your problem.
8. Be professional. Passion and interest come to you as you work. Even if the weather is not good or you don’t want to go out, try to overcome your reluctance and work on a daily basis.
The common thread of all of these things is action: moving, changing, surprise the brain to get out of the house. The list above is based on the author’s experiences and may not be for everyone, but you can do so if you interact with any of the tips.

Frogs with separated legs

Frogs whose legs are cut off and dipped in jelly wrap around their eggs struggle to get to the surface.

A small population of the inhabitants of the Carpathian Mountains in Romania’s Koasna district earn their living only by selling frog pies.

The legs are usually separated in spring, when it is time for the frogs to hatch, and sometimes this is done while the animal is alive.

The annual revenue from the sale of this product is about $ 5 million.

Central American immigrants climb the fence on the Elchaparal border between Mexico and the United States. A convoy of asylum-seekers who had moved from Honduras in October reached the border in mid-November.

The 6,000-strong crowd at the border raises tensions, and people who have not been waiting for months in the asylum seekers leave the convoy and climb the fences to cross the border.

Crying girl at the border

John Moore, Getty Images photographer,

won the Photo Contest of the Year at the Photo Contest for Crying Girl at the Border

The photo, which was selected from around 2,000 works,

won first prize in addition to receiving the “Best News Photo of the Year” award in the “Single Photo” section.

June 8: US Border Guards in McAllen, Texas arrest Janella Sanchez,

a two-year-old girl from Honduras, with her mother, Sandra Sanchez.

Here’s the description for this photo:

Immigrant families crossed the Rio Negro River

(which forms part of the border between the United States and Mexico) by boat, detained by US border guards.

Sandra Sanchez said she and her daughter had come to the United States to seek asylum after a month’s journey across Central America and Mexico.

Trump at the Borders had announced a policy of “zero tolerance” and as a result, immigrants who crossed the border illegally could be prosecuted.

Enforcing this policy would have separated mothers

and fathers from their children and even transferred them to separate detention centers.

Following the worldwide release of the photo,

the US Customs and Border Protection Bureau announced that Yanla was not among the thousands of children that US troops have separated from their parents.

However, public protests over the controversial performance of the US Border Guards prompted Trump to suspend implementation of parts of the “zero tolerance” policy on June 20,

including the separation of parents from their children.

Less than a week after the photo was taken, John Moore criticized US government immigration policies in an interview:

We all have heard of children being separated from their parents, but many of us have little idea of what we have heard.

It was very difficult for me to take this photo because I knew what was going to happen afterwards. As a father who also has a young child,

Seeing what was going on in front of my camera lens and thinking about how my kids would be separated from me one day was so annoying.

After it became clear that the mother and the baby were not separated,

many photographers criticized Moore’s (in her opinion) unprofessional performance.

In a survey of the Patapixel website about Moore’s photo,

half of the participants described Moore’s performance as professional and the other half believed that he had gone too far and was unprofessional as a news photographer.

Later, in an interview with CBS, Moore reacted to the criticism raised:

Often, we look at immigration solely from the statistics and figures, and only when we portray the suffering of the immigrant human being and the subject of the human aspect itself do people realize.

When they understand it, they feel compassion and sympathy, and that I have been able to visualize a bit of this suffering.

Moore’s historical photo later became even part of the cover design of Time magazine. Protesting Trump’s anti-immigration policies, the magazine dedicated a cover image to his welcome to Janella Sanchez.
