The photos I gave them have another story. I have a hard time coping with these photos. I lost them because I was too slow, not focused, thinking too much or taking pictures at that moment.

The image I didn’t get is a missed chance. I don’t have a portfolio. The lost photo has nothing to teach. Not even a memory of that situation is left. That moment is gone. That’s the whole story.

Bad photography has at least something to do with training, but what not?

These days I have adjusted the camera settings. I’ve set everything else like Exposure, ISO and Focus to Auto mode. I even set myself to auto mode: Whenever I find something interesting, I start taking pictures. As long as the scene continues to be interesting, I’ll take pictures! Photo, Photo, Photo …

Limitations are important: Prime Prime Lenses

In photography, especially street photography, it is difficult to classify the skills needed. When shooting photography, it is important to focus on the limitations.

In photography we can apply limitations in many aspects, most notably the focal length. That’s why prime lenses have been widely acclaimed by street photographers. Photographers think these lenses enhance their creativity, but in fact, they limit the field of view by teaching photographers how to adjust the frame by moving their body.

These settings over time lead to better spatial awareness and understanding of the effects of specific focal lengths.

So, as we said about conscious exercise, it is better to focus on this disadvantage. If you have been shooting with a 2mm prime lens for many years, using a 1mm or 1mm lens may help you improve your skill with their focal lengths as well.

With zoom lenses, photography becomes a conscious and thoughtful experience where the location and consequently the perspective are less affected by the lenses. You can easily select a perspective and then adjust the focal length and finally adjust your perspective.

The photographer had a 5mm lens but felt he could take better pictures with a 7mm lens. However, having a prime lens helped him to capture an interesting combination at one point. This limitation made him creative.

Othertimes I force myself to go out and do street photography even if I don’t want to. In such a situation, I just take photos without regard to anything until I find the passion again.

Passion comes to you after you get started, not before

The urge to work comes after you, not before; and if you do something every day, you create a compelling force that makes it easier for you the next day. For Wingel, writing a daily paper is easier than writing two or three times a week. The same is true for photography; if you don’t go out for a few days, it’s hard to get out. That’s why it is harder for people to get to work early in the week.

Under Newton’s first law of inertia, an object will continue to move unless force is forced to stop. If you continue to sit, you will continue to sit. If you work five days in a row and then stop working, it will be more difficult for you to get started and you need to apply more energy. If you are moving you will need a little energy to keep moving.

Conclusion

All artists occasionally experience discouragement and a lack of passion for the work. Although this tendency is natural, it is treatable. The following is a brief summary of the tips:

1. Lower expectations. Even if you are a professional photographer sometimes allow yourself to take ‘bad’ pictures. You don’t have to share all your images with others. Photography for your entertainment and for yourself.

5. Sign out of social networks. Avoid the hum of social media. Instagram is harmful to your passion.
6. If possible, don’t turn photography into a daily job. That way, you can only capture your favorite images, not the ones others expect of you.
7. Don’t buy new equipment to solve the problem of immorality. Go as far as you can go but if you think traveling solves the long-term crisis of inactivity. Instead, try to root out your problem.
8. Be professional. Passion and interest come to you as you work. Even if the weather is not good or you don’t want to go out, try to overcome your reluctance and work on a daily basis.

The common thread of all of these things is action: moving, changing, surprise the brain to get out of the house. The list above is based on the author’s experiences and may not be for everyone, but you can do so if you interact with any of the tips.

Sometimes a picture is more than a thousand words long,

and sometimes a news photo keeps an event in mind forever.
Selected works from the World Press Photo Contest of the Year 6 are also photos.

World Press Photo is a non-profit organization founded in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The institute, which is currently hosting the world’s most prestigious annual photo competition, awards prizes in a variety of fields.

The competition featured eight categories of public news, special reporting, environment, nature, contemporary affairs, portraits, sports and long-term projects.

Frogs with separated legs

Boxing In Katanga

(which forms part of the border between the United States and Mexico) by boat, detained by US border guards.

Sandra Sanchez said she and her daughter had come to the United States to seek asylum after a month’s journey across Central America and Mexico.

Trump at the Borders had announced a policy of “zero tolerance” and as a result, immigrants who crossed the border illegally could be prosecuted.

Enforcing this policy would have separated mothers

and fathers from their children and even transferred them to separate detention centers.

Following the worldwide release of the photo,

the US Customs and Border Protection Bureau announced that Yanla was not among the thousands of children that US troops have separated from their parents.

However, public protests over the controversial performance of the US Border Guards prompted Trump to suspend implementation of parts of the “zero tolerance” policy on June 20,

including the separation of parents from their children.

Less than a week after the photo was taken, John Moore criticized US government immigration policies in an interview:

We all have heard of children being separated from their parents, but many of us have little idea of what we have heard.

It was very difficult for me to take this photo because I knew what was going to happen afterwards. As a father who also has a young child,

Seeing what was going on in front of my camera lens and thinking about how my kids would be separated from me one day was so annoying.

After it became clear that the mother and the baby were not separated,

many photographers criticized Moore’s (in her opinion) unprofessional performance.

In a survey of the Patapixel website about Moore’s photo,

half of the participants described Moore’s performance as professional and the other half believed that he had gone too far and was unprofessional as a news photographer.

Later, in an interview with CBS, Moore reacted to the criticism raised:

Often, we look at immigration solely from the statistics and figures, and only when we portray the suffering of the immigrant human being and the subject of the human aspect itself do people realize.

When they understand it, they feel compassion and sympathy, and that I have been able to visualize a bit of this suffering.

Moore’s historical photo later became even part of the cover design of Time magazine. Protesting Trump’s anti-immigration policies, the magazine dedicated a cover image to his welcome to Janella Sanchez.
